• In 1992, “Khatansuikh” Partnership with Full Liability for All Members Company was established with two members and became one of the first private manufacturers of sausages and meat products in Mongolia using locally manufactured small-scale equipment.
• From 1996, the Company was reorganised as “Khatansuikh Impex” LLC and continued sausage production using compact equipment manufactured by Germany’s MADO Company.
• In 2000, the Company carried out a major expansion and modernisation of its production facilities by introducing modern sausage and canned food manufacturing equipment produced in Germany and Austria. During this period, the Company commenced canned food production, preserving meat products in cans and, for the first time in Mongolia, producing preserved products packaged in retort pouches. The Company also opened and began operating the “Sissi” Restaurant and branded retail stores.
• In 2005, the 4,020 m2 “HASU Sausage and Canning Factory” complex was commissioned, significantly increasing the Company’s canned product production capacity. Products such as beef ribs (Kalbi) in 3-litre cans and various soups began to be exported to the Republic of Korea, while steamed lamb and beef products were exported to the Russian Federation.
• In 2008, our Company became the first in Mongolia to commence exports of semiprocessed Halal meat products to Iran.
• In 2009, in cooperation with MG CHEONGROk Co., Ltd. of the Republic of Korea, the Company commissioned a concentrated bone broth production facility and began supplying concentrated beef and lamb bone broth products to both the Korean and Mongolian markets.
In 2015, following a favourable risk assessment conducted by the Veterinary and Quarantine Authorities of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Company obtained the right to export sausages and canned meat products to Vietnam.
• In 2016, the Company obtained approval to export heat-processed meat products to the People’s Republic of China and commenced exports accordingly.
• In 2016, the Company implemented the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) system project and obtained certification from “TÜV Rheinland”, an international standards, certification, and auditing organisation headquartered in Germany.
• In 2017 and 2018, TÜV Rheinland conducted surveillance and recertification audits of the food safety management system, and the HACCP system was successfully recertified.
• Since 2018, the Company has implemented the ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System Standard, and since 2020, the ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System Standard, of which continue to be annually certified and maintained.
